If you are wondering how to visualize your Google task applet on KDE4 and you do not want to bang your head on the wall, you can follow the following steps.
(Pre-requisite you’ll never use your Konqueror to access Gmail as this configuration force your Gmail to HTTP version)
1. First go to Konqueror Settings -> Configure Konqueror -> Browser Identification
2. Add a new Site Specification for the link mail.google.com, as Agent you should choose Wget (no matter the version)
3. Add a Browser widget on your desktop and visit this website here: https://mail.google.com/tasks/
DONE!

Pro: It does not destroy the configuration of Konqueror for Gmail. But the first method is still more functional and practical.
